Sweet little Paxton was the best model baby! He slept the whole time and has the prettiest new skin! He's already a big St. Louis Cardinal fan - he smiled when we put the hat on him! And, what baby is just ok with laying in baseballs?! Congrats to this new family!
This sweet girl was so happy for her first birthday pictures yesterday! She is the flower girl in a wedding we are shooting tomorrow, so hopefully she still has some smiles left! Her session included pictures in mommy's silver wedding shoes and her mommy's sequins dance tutu, from when she was little! I love how we that tied in :). Happy birthday, little lady! It was so fun to see you grow throughout this past year!
Brace yourself for the cuteness you're about to view!
I was so excited to edit these pictures because I knew as soon as they showed up to the session, this would be awesome! I'm a dog-lover.....especially dogs that are a bit round and wrinkly and have a smashed face. (We have a pug. Same concept, you know?)
Luke just turned two, and although this can be a hard age to document, letting him explore and play with his dogs was perfect. When Luke thought he had taken enough pictures (toddlers always let you know when they are done), we were able to get a couple photos of his parents! It's always nice to update a picture with your spouse, because we all know that after children, that's one of the last things you think about! All of these candid shots were so much fun to capture!

The biggest compliment we receive as wedding photographers is having our couples return for their first family pictures! We love seeing their families grow, and this session was no different!
Baby Brynn is going to be a model.....she smiled more than I have ever seen any newborn smile during a session, and she was the best little six-pound-poser! She let us do whatever we wanted and didn't make a sound! We reassured her that she would love to look at these pictures in a few years! Kyle and Jessica are the best parents already and seeing the two of them with their tiny baby will bring a tear to your eye!
I know there are four grandparents who will be excited to see these pictures of their first grandchild! Kyle's sister, Kate and her husband, Nate, will be welcoming a baby very soon too! The Mantle family will surely get their baby fix this summer! Congrats to you all!

Amber and Bryan are one of those couples you know just belong together. The way they interact, look at each other, and laugh together made their wedding day so fun for everyone there!
Amber is the only child in her family, so I instantly knew how special the moments would be between Amber and her parents. They offered her a sense of relaxation before the ceremony and as she walked down the aisle, everyone was calm, even Bryan! These two were considerate to everyone, even though it was "their day." They made the day so simple, yet memorable and relaxing, and they made sure to have fun together!
The week after their wedding, we received flowers, delivered to the studio, from this couple, and that gesture made us smile all week! That has never happened before, and it made us realize that, although we have to give up a lot of Saturdays with our own families to photograph weddings, people notice and appreciate it. This isn't a "job" to us. We spend a lot of time with our couples, from the initial planning to the engagement session, to more planning, and then onto their big day. We develop a friendship with these couples and, for us, that's reward enough!
Thank you for having us document your first day as husband and wife! We wish you all the happiness in the world! (And, remember, Janelle already guaranteed you a successful marriage, so you're fine!)
